Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026 · Version 2026-09
AIDA uses a minimal set of cookies, all strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the platform to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- session — keeps you signed in by maintaining your authenticated session. HttpOnly, Secure (in production), SameSite=Lax. Expires after 8 hours, or when you sign out.
- authlib_state… / authlib_pkce_verifier… — set only during single sign-on (OAuth / OIDC) to protect the sign-in against cross-site request forgery. Temporary; cleared as soon as sign-in completes.
2. Local storage
Your chosen interface language is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie. It never leaves your browser and is not readable by us.
3. What we don’t use
We do not set analytics, performance, advertising, or social-media cookies. We use no third-party trackers, pixels, or beacons (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Hotjar, or similar), and we do not track you across other websites.
4. Consent
Because the cookies above are strictly necessary to provide a service you actively request — signing in and using the platform — they are exempt from prior consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Recital 32). If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
5. Managing cookies
You can review, block, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in and using the platform.
6. Questions and language
Questions about cookies: [email protected].
This document is published in English and Italian. The English text is the authoritative one: where the two differ, the English governs. The law that applies and the courts that hear a dispute are Italian either way.
